Homemade Berry Jam

Ingredients

  • 1 kg mixed berries (e.g., raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, currants)
  • 500 g gelatine sugar (2:1)
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 untreated lemon (juice)
  • 60 ml cassis liqueur

Instructions

    Wash, sort, and clean the berries, then let them drain well.

    In a pot, mix the berries with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice; let sit for 1 hour.

    Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring continuously, and simmer for 4 minutes until sparkling.

    Stir in the liqueur.

    Fill the jam into well-drained jars, seal tightly, place upside down for 10 minutes, then turn right-side up and allow to cool completely. Store in a cool, dark place.
