Pear-Blackberry Jam with Nuts

Ingredients

  • 600 g blackberries
  • 400 g pears
  • 500 g pectin sugar (2:1)
  • 50 g chopped walnuts
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice

Instructions

    Rinse the berries, briefly rinse under cold water and drain. Peel the pears, cut in half, remove seeds and grate coarsely. Mix both with the pectin sugar in a pot thoroughly, let steep for about 2 hours.

    Bring to a boil while stirring, then simmer for 2 minutes until sparkling. Add the walnuts and lemon juice, cook for another 2 minutes.

    Immediately pour into prepared jars, filling them almost to the brim, and seal. Place the lids on top for about 10 minutes, then flip over and let cool.
