Ingredients

  • 2 Apples
  • 40 g millet flakes
  • 150 ml Milk (3.5% fat)
  • 1 tsp Rapeseed oil
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

    Wash, peel, quarter the apples, remove cores and dice the flesh. Place apple pieces in an oven-safe dish and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (fan 160 °C; gas: level 2–3) for about 10 minutes.

    Meanwhile bring millet flakes to a boil with 100 ml water in a pot, then simmer on low heat for 3–5 minutes until softened. Add milk, stir well and let it bubble briefly.

    Add the apple pieces and mix thoroughly. Remove from heat, allow to cool slightly, then stir in rapeseed oil. Spoon millet porridge into glasses and sprinkle with cinnamon before serving.
