Grilled Shrimp with Avocado Dip

- 1.5 kg large raw shrimp (whole)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 1 tsp sweet paprika
- 2 tbsp sweet-spicy chili sauce
- Salt
- black pepper
- 2 Avocados
- 1 Lime (juice)

Preheat the oven to grill mode.

Cut a slit along the back of each shrimp to remove the dark vein. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Mix with lemon juice, olive oil, curry powder, paprika, and chili sauce; season with salt and pepper. Toss the shrimp in this mixture and spread them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes, turning occasionally.

Halve the avocados, remove the pits, and loosen the flesh from the skin. Dice into small cubes and drizzle with 2-3 tbsp lime juice. Peel the garlic cloves and combine them with sour cream and half of the avocado in a blender; puree until smooth. Rinse the chili pepper, deseed, and finely chop it. Rinse the coriander leaves, shake dry, and finely chop the stems. Mix the chopped chili, coriander, and remaining avocado cubes into the creamy mixture; season with salt, cayenne pepper, and any leftover lime juice to taste.
