Ingredients

  • Tortilla
  • 140 g flour
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • Guacamole
  • 1 small Shallot
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 small green chili pepper
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1 ripe Avocado
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • Salt
  • black pepper (freshly ground)
  • Tabasco

Instructions

    Mix the flour and salt. Add about 70 ml water and knead into a smooth dough for approximately 5 minutes. Cover and let rest for 2-3 hours.

    Divide the dough into four portions. Shape each into a ball and roll out into a thin disc about 15 cm in diameter with a little flour.

    Cook each disc in a heavy skillet without oil, 1 minute on each side. Place finished tortillas on a preheated plate and cover with a kitchen towel to keep them warm.

    Peel the shallot and finely dice it. Boil the tomato briefly, peel, halve, seed, and cube it. Wash, clean, seed, and slice the chili into thin rings. Combine all ingredients. Peel the garlic and mince it into the mixture.

    Halve the avocado, peel and pit it. Blend with lemon juice in a blender until smooth. Stir in the tomato mixture. Season with salt, pepper, and Tabasco to taste.

    Serve the tortillas with the avocado dip.
