Grilled Shrimp Skewers

Packed with muscle‑building protein, healthy fats and plenty of vitamins, these grilled shrimp skewers from Spoonsparrow are a wholesome choice!

Ingredients

  • 20 shrimp tails (peeled and deveined)
  • 150 g cherry tomatoes
  • 5 spring onions
  • 50 ml dry white wine
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 6 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 sprigs thyme

Instructions

    Rinse the shrimp and pat them dry. Wash the tomatoes and halve them. Clean the spring onions, remove the greens and cut the remaining parts into ~4 cm pieces. Thread the shrimp, tomatoes and onion pieces alternately onto skewers. Place in a shallow dish, drizzle with wine, cover and marinate in the fridge for about 1 hour. Peel the garlic and press it into the oil, letting it infuse.

    Preheat the grill. Brush the shrimp with the garlic‑oil mixture and cook on the hot grill, turning every few minutes, for about 4 minutes. Brush with more oil several times during cooking.

    Garnish the grilled shrimp skewers with thyme and serve. A spaghetti salad pairs well with them.
