Grilled Baby Artichokes

Ingredients

  • 12 small artichokes
  • lemon juice (for drizzling)
  • Sea salt
  • Pepper
  • 4 fresh garlic cloves
  • 50 ml olive oil

Instructions

    Clean the artichokes, leaving part of the stem intact and peeling them. Trim hard leaves and tips. Slice the cleaned artichokes lengthwise in half and immediately drizzle with lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper, then grill both sides for about 2 minutes each (alternatively cook in a grill pan with a little olive oil).

    Press the garlic into the olive oil and add to the pan. Remove the artichokes from the grill, mix them with the oil, let rest for about 10 minutes, then serve.
