Ingredients
- 0.25 Cucumber
- 1 sheet nori seaweed
- 200 g cooked sushi rice
- 1 tsp wasabi
- 2 tsp Sesame seeds
Instructions
-
1.
Peel the cucumber, cut it lengthwise in half, remove the seeds and slice into thin sticks.
-
2.
Cut the nori sheet lengthwise in half and place one half flat on a work surface (or over a plastic-wrapped bamboo sushi mat if available). Spread half of the sushi rice with well-moistened hands on the nori sheet, leaving about a 1 cm border at the top edge. Spread a thin strip of wasabi across the middle of the rice with your finger. Place half of the cucumber sticks on the wasabi. Sprinkle with 1 tsp sesame seeds. Brush the free nori edge with a little water. Fold the nori sheet from the bottom side over the filling and roll tightly, pressing the edge lightly to seal. Repeat with the second half and cut both rolls into six equal pieces.
