This grape porridge is well suited for transitioning from breast milk or infant formula to the first solid foods.

Ingredients

  • 50 g large grapes (5 large grapes)
  • 200 ml milk (3.5 % fat)
  • 20 g baby whole grain rice flakes (2 tbsp; preferably Holle)

Instructions

  1. 1.

Wash grapes thoroughly under warm water, drain and halve.

  2. 2.

Place grapes in a fine sieve, hang over a bowl and press with a wooden spoon, collecting the juice.

  3. 3.

Heat 100 ml milk in a pot and stir in the flakes. Bring to a boil once, then simmer for 1-2 minutes while stirring and remove from heat.

  4. 4.

Stir the remaining milk and collected grape juice into the milk porridge.

  5. 5.

Fill everything into a baby bottle and screw on a nipple. Before feeding, check drinking temperature with a drop of the bottle on the back of your hand.
