Gorgonzola Dip with Walnuts

The Gorgonzola dip with walnuts by Spoonsparrow combines fruity pear with hearty cheese and aromatic nuts.

Ingredients

  • 80 g heavy cream
  • 120 g Gorgonzola
  • 1 ripe pear
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 30 g walnut kernels
  • Pepper (freshly ground)

Instructions

    Heat the cream without boiling; cube the Gorgonzola and add, letting it melt. Whisk with a whisk until the cheese fully dissolves. Chill in the refrigerator for 30–60 minutes.

    Peel the pear and finely dice it; drizzle with lemon juice. Set aside some walnuts, finely chop the rest.

    Fold the diced pear and chopped walnuts into the Gorgonzola cream. Season the dip with pepper and serve garnished with walnuts.
