Glazed Honey Carrots

Glazed honey carrots provide a low-calorie source of vitamin A, promoting healthy skin and bone growth.
Ingredients
- 400 g bundle of carrots
- 1 small onion
- 2 tsp yogurt butter
- 2 tsp Liquid Honey
- Salt
- Pepper
- 100 ml classic vegetable broth
- 1 tsp ground poppy seeds

Clean, wash, peel the carrots and trim the tops to about 1 cm. Wash a few tender carrot greens, shake off excess water, and set aside for garnish.

Peel the onion and dice finely.

Heat butter in a shallow pot or non‑stick skillet. Sauté the carrots and onion over medium heat, turning occasionally, for 4 minutes.

Add honey and stir. Season with salt and pepper. Pour in vegetable broth, bring to a boil, then cover and cook over medium heat for 10–12 minutes until tender yet firm.

Meanwhile, toast the poppy seeds in a non‑stick pan over medium heat, stirring, for 2–3 minutes. Sprinkle them over the carrots, garnish with carrot greens, and serve.
