Spoonsparrow zucchini sticks are not only quick to make and super tasty, but also provide a good portion of nutrients for children.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium zucchini
  • 4 tsp olive oil (≈5 ml)
  • 2 tsp Italian herbs
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan (15 g)
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast

Instructions

  1. 1.

Clean and wash the zucchini, then cut into sticks about 2.5 cm thick.

  2. 2.

In a large bowl combine the zucchini with olive oil and spices.

  3. 3.

Add the Parmesan and nutritional yeast, mixing well until the sticks are evenly coated.

  4. 4.

Spread the sticks in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, making sure they do not touch each other.

  5. 5.

Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (180 °C fan; gas: level 3) for 20–25 minutes, turning halfway through. Finish with 1–2 minutes under the preheated grill to crisp up.
