Ginger Mint Iced Tea

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Rooibos tea
  • 2 peppermint leaves
  • 1 slice ginger
  • 1 Organic lemon
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • Ice cubes
  • mint sprigs (for garnish)

Instructions

    Pour the rooibos tea with the peppermint leaves and ginger into a bowl and pour 200 ml of boiling water over it. Steep for 3–5 minutes. Then strain through a sieve and refrigerate for about 45 minutes.

    Wash the lemon hot, dry rub it, and halve it. Slice half a lemon. Squeeze juice from the other half. Stir the tea with the lemon juice and sugar.

    Fill a large glass with ice cubes and lemon slices. Serve garnished with mint sprigs.
