Garlic Butter Baguette

Ingredients

  • 3-4 garlic cloves
  • 125 g soft herb butter (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 baguette
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 250 g softened butter
  • 3 tbsp chopped mixed herbs
  • 2 tsp finely chopped thyme
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • salt to taste

Instructions

    Peel the garlic and press it through a press, then stir into the herb butter. Slice the baguette about every 2 cm, but do not cut all the way through. Spread the herb butter into the cuts. Wrap the bread in foil and grill for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally.

    For the herb butter, peel and press the garlic. Whisk the softened butter in a warm bowl until creamy or frothy, then mix in the garlic, herbs, lemon juice, and salt. Place the butter on plastic wrap, roll into a log, wrap tightly, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Slice into rounds just before serving.
