Fried Filo-Wrapped Minced Meat

Ingredients
- 1 Garlic clove
- 1 untreated lemon
- 2 stalks Parsley
- 1 stalk mint
- 500 g minced meat (beef or lamb)
- 1 egg
- cumin (ground)
- Salt
- chili flakes
- 2 sheets filo dough (≈40x50 cm each)
- vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions

Peel and finely chop the garlic. Wash the lemon hot, pat dry, grate the zest and squeeze out the juice. Rinse the herbs, shake dry, pluck leaves and finely chop. Combine garlic with lemon zest, herbs, and minced meat in a bowl. Add the egg and season with cumin, salt, lemon juice, and chili flakes. Mix well.

Cut the filo dough lengthwise into thirds, then cut each strip crosswise into halves and diagonally into triangles. Place 1-2 tbsp of filling on the short edge of each triangle, fold over the edges, roll toward the tip. Brush the tip edges with water and press firmly.

Fry the rolls in hot oil for 4-5 minutes until golden brown, drain on paper towels, and serve.
