Ingredients

  • 300 g mixed ground meat
  • 20 g pine nuts
  • 50 g cashew kernels
  • 1 egg
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp coriander
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Mint leaves
  • 200 g yogurt
  • 3 tbsp sour cream
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 2 sprigs Mint
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

    Coarsely chop the nuts and mint leaves, mix with ground meat, egg, and spices. Knead well and shape into 16 small balls.

    Pan‑fry the balls in hot oil for about 15 minutes until golden brown. Whisk yogurt with sour cream, peel garlic, and squeeze into the pan.

    Slice mint leaves into strips, stir in, season with salt and pepper. Serve the cold sauce with the meatballs.
