Ingredients
- 2 handfuls elderflowers
- 1 untreated lemon
- 400 g sugar
- 500 ml wine spirit
Instructions

Do not wash the elderflowers, just shake them out of their bag.

Wash the lemon in hot water and slice it into rounds.

Slowly bring the sugar with 500 ml water to a boil while stirring, then simmer for about 10 minutes.

Let the syrup cool, add the elderflowers, wine spirit and lemon slices, and pour into a large pot or similar container. Cover and let steep for about two days.

Strain through a cheesecloth and fill prepared bottles. Seal tightly and store in a cool, dark place.
