Ingredients

  • 500 g rose hips (fresh picked)
  • 500 g elderberries (fresh picked)
  • 0.25 l orange juice
  • 1 kg jam sugar

Instructions

    Wash rose hips and elderberries, drain and pluck the berries off the stems. Place rose hips and elderberries with about ½ l water in a pot, cover and steam for approximately 20 minutes.

    Mash with a potato masher, then strain through a fine-mesh sieve. Measure out 650 g berry purée. Add orange juice and jam sugar, bring to a boil. Simmer sparkling for 4 minutes, immediately pour into jars, seal, and let cool.
