Currant Smoothie

The currant smoothie from Spoonsparrow brings summer into a glass – a body‑friendly refreshment packed with plenty of vital nutrients!

Ingredients

  • 250 g red currants
  • 250 g black currants
  • 200 g Blueberries
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 orange

Instructions

    Wash and pat dry the red, black currants and blueberries. Remove the stems from the currants. Freeze the red currants for 20 minutes in the freezer.

    Meanwhile peel the banana and slice it. Halve the orange and squeeze out its juice.

    Set aside some berries for garnish and blend the rest with the banana and orange juice until smooth. If desired, thin with a little cold water. Pour the smoothie into well‑chilled glasses and top with the remaining berries. Enjoy immediately.
