Ingredients
- 500 ml currant juice (possibly made from fresh berries)
- Zucker (75 g)
- Traubenzucker (75 g)
- 10 sheets of red gelatin

Soak the gelatin in cold water. Heat the fruit juice together with the sugar, glucose and water until the sugar is dissolved, remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Squeeze out excess water from the gelatin and dissolve it into the still hot syrup while stirring. Pour the mixture into a mold and chill for 3 hours until set.

To serve, briefly immerse the mold in hot water to loosen the jelly, then pour it onto a plate. Cut into portions with a sharp knife and serve with vanilla ice cream.
