Crumble with Strawberries

Ingredients

  • 600 g strawberries
  • 40 ml cassis liqueur
  • 1 tsp organic lemon zest
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 100 g ground almonds (peeled)
  • 100 g cane sugar
  • 100 g wheat flour type 405
  • 50 g rolled oats
  • 125 g butter
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

    Clean, wash and halve the strawberries. Mix with cassis liqueur, lemon zest and vanilla sugar, then fill into four portion-sized baking dishes.

    Grind the almonds with sugar, flour, oats and butter between your hands until crumbly, and sprinkle over the berries. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (fan 160 °C; gas: level 2–3) for 15–20 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and serve dusted with powdered sugar.
