Ingredients

  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 125 g butter
  • 75 g powdered sugar
  • 40 g chopped almonds
  • 2 tbsp chocolate shavings
  • 1 packet butter cookies

Instructions

    Break the chocolate into pieces and melt with butter in a saucepan over low heat, stirring.

    Stir in powdered sugar, almonds, and chocolate shavings.

    Line a loaf pan with a layer of butter cookies. Pour a thin layer of chocolate butter over them and spread it out. Repeat layering chocolate butter and cookies until all ingredients are used up.

    Refrigerate for at least 3 hours, then remove from the pan and cut into slices (best with a hot knife).
