Citrus Fruit Marmalade

Ingredients
- 2 kg limes
- 2 untreated oranges
- 1 apple
- 200 g brown sugar
- 800 g gelatin sugar

Take about half of the limes, peel them and cut out the flesh. Catch the juice and squeeze the remaining pulp. Juice the rest of the limes as well.

Wash the oranges hot, dry rub them, and finely zest the peel. Squeeze the juice.

Peel the apple, quarter it, remove the core. Grate the pulp finely and add it with lime juice, the flesh, orange juice, and zest to a pot.

Stir in the brown sugar and let it steep for about 20 minutes.

Add the gelatin sugar, stir, and bring to a boil. Let it bubble for about 4 minutes (gel test).

Fill prepared jars immediately and seal. Turn the lids over and let cool for about 10 minutes before turning them back down to finish cooling.
