Christmas Tree Cookies

- 200 g honey
- 100 g sugar
- 50 g butter
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 500 g flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- 100 g powdered sugar
- various food coloring
- water

Warm honey, sugar, butter and water together until melted, then pour into a bowl and chill. While the mixture is almost cool, whisk in the egg. Knead in the flour and baking powder. Roll out the dough to about 1/2 cm thickness on a floured surface and cut out Christmas tree shapes. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 15 minutes. Remove and let cool.

Whisk powdered sugar with about 1 tbsp water until thick enough to spread. Brush the cookies with this glaze, allowing it to dry. Color the remaining glaze with food coloring and use a toothpick to drip small colorful dots onto the white icing.
