Christmas Tree Cake

Ingredients
- 1 fresh lemon
- 240 g soft butter
- 240 g powdered sugar
- 4 eggs
- 280 g flour
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- butter (for the pan)
- 200 g powdered sugar
- food coloring (green)
- 1 pack of candies (mini Dragibus, or substitute with sugar beads)

Preheat the oven to 180°C fan.

Wash the lemon hot. Grate the zest and squeeze out the juice. Beat butter and sugar in a bowl until fluffy, then add eggs one at a time. Sift flour with baking powder over the mixture, add lemon zest, and mix well. Butter the pan and pour in the batter. Bake on the lower rack for 35-40 minutes (test with a skewer).

Let the cake cool on a wire rack. Mix powdered sugar with a few drops of green food coloring and enough lemon juice to make a thick, rich green glaze. Spread the glaze over the cake and decorate with Dragibus before it dries.
