Christmas cookies decorated with colorful icing

Ingredients
- 300 g flour
- 100 g sugar
- 200 g butter
- 1 egg
- 200 g powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp Lemon juice
- food coloring
- colored icing letters in various colors (black, brown, white, green, red, yellow, blue)

Knead flour with sugar, egg and cold butter quickly, shape into a ball, wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Roll the dough to 0.5 cm thickness on a floured surface and cut out eight large Christmas shapes using a template or by hand (e.g., Santa, deer, gift box, snowman). Optionally poke holes (e.g., Santa hat, reindeer antlers). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the cut dough on it. Bake in convection mode at 200°C for about 10 minutes. Let cool.

Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice to make glaze. Color portions as desired with food coloring and decorate the figures with icing and colored letters.
