Ingredients

  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • vanilla pods
  • 175 g butter
  • 300 g flour
  • 20 ml brandy
  • 0.25 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 0.5 tsp Baking powder
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 50 g white couverture chocolate

Instructions

    Whisk the softened butter until fluffy, then fold in powdered sugar, vanilla essence, egg, brandy and cinnamon. Mix flour, salt, baking powder and cocoa powder together and incorporate into the batter.

    Using a pastry bag fitted with a large star tip, decorate the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 12 minutes, then remove and let cool.

    Break the couverture chocolate into pieces and melt it over a bain‑marie; place a small ball of melted chocolate on each cookie’s center and allow to set. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
