Ingredients

  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • vanilla beans
  • 175 g butter
  • 300 g flour
  • 20 ml brandy
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • a pinch of salt
  • 0.5 tsp Baking powder
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 50 g white couverture chocolate

Instructions

    Whisk the softened butter until fluffy, then fold in powdered sugar, vanilla essence, egg, brandy and cinnamon. Mix flour, salt, baking powder and cocoa powder together and fold into the wet mixture.

    Using a piping bag with a large star tip, pipe decorative shapes onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 12 minutes, then remove and let cool.

    Break the couverture chocolate into pieces and melt it over a bain‑marie; place a small ball of melted chocolate on each cookie and allow to set.
