Ingredients

  • 1 Vanilla bean
  • 150 g butter
  • 120 g sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 140 g flour
  • 100 g Ground Almonds
  • 50 g cornstarch

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) with top and bottom heat and line two baking trays with parchment paper.

    Split the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Beat the butter and sugar until fluffy with a hand mixer. Fold in the egg, yolk, and vanilla seeds. Mix the flour with the almonds and cornstarch, then gradually fold into the butter-egg mixture. Fill a piping bag fitted with a star tip and pipe rings onto the trays. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes until golden.
