Ingredients
- 4 chicken breast fillets (ca. 600 g)
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion
- 1 pack tomato pieces with herbs, 370 g
- 125 ml dry red wine
- 1 tbsp fresh chopped oregano
- 2 tbsp green olives (pitted)
Instructions

Season the chicken breast fillets with salt and pepper and fry in hot oil for about 8 minutes. Remove, wrap in foil and keep warm.

Peel and dice the onion and sauté it in the pan fat. Add tomato pieces and red wine, season, and simmer for about 5 minutes; taste and adjust seasoning.

Stir oregano and olives into the tomato sauce. Take the chicken breast fillets out of the foil and whisk the released juices into the sauce.

Slice the chicken breast diagonally and plate with the sauce.

Serve with pasta alongside.
