Ingredients

  • 3 chicken breast fillets (≈150 g each)
  • 500 ml vegetable broth
  • 400 g penne pasta
  • Salt
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 300 ml heavy cream
  • 1 tsp Dried Italian herbs
  • 200 g peas (frozen or fresh)

Instructions

    Rinse the chicken breast fillets and place them in boiling broth. Reduce heat and simmer the meat for about 10 minutes until cooked. Remove, let cool, then shred into pieces with your fingers.

    Cook the penne in salted boiling water to al dente.

    Peel and finely dice the onion. Sauté in oil until translucent, pour in cream, season with herbs, salt, and pepper. Add peas and simmer for about 5 minutes. Return chicken strips to the sauce, optionally add some broth, and adjust seasoning.
