Chicken Breast Fillets Wrapped in Bacon

- 4 chicken breast fillets (120 g each)
- pepper (ground)
- 120 g breakfast bacon (in strips)
- 250 g white asparagus
- 250 g green asparagus
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 150 ml chicken broth
- 200 ml whipping cream

Wash the chicken breast fillets and pat dry with paper towels. Season all sides with pepper, wrap each fillet in bacon and secure with toothpicks.

Peel the white asparagus, trim about 2 cm from the bottom, and cut into small pieces. Wash the green asparagus, trim about 2 cm from the bottom, and cut similarly.

Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet, brown the chicken breast fillets on all sides, then add the asparagus. Season with salt and pepper, pour in the chicken broth, and simmer over medium heat until the liquid has evaporated, turning the asparagus and chicken occasionally.

Add the whipping cream, bring to a boil, then cover and cook at low temperature for about 5 minutes. Remove the lid, increase heat to high, reduce the sauce to a creamy consistency, and season with salt and pepper.
