Ingredients

  • 1 kg pitted sour cherries
  • 1 kg fruit gelatine sugar
  • 1 Vanilla bean

Instructions

    Wash and pit the cherries. Mix the fruit with the fruit gelatine sugar in a large pot until well combined. Split the vanilla bean, scrape out the seeds and add everything together. Bring to a boil over high heat while stirring constantly.

    Let it bubble vigorously for 3 minutes, continuing to stir. Remove the vanilla bean and pour the hot jam into screw‑top jars, seal tightly, flip them upside down, and leave for about 5 minutes.
