Ingredients

  • 2 kg sweet cherries (pitted and weighed)
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 kg gelatin sugar (1:1 ratio)
  • 8 jam jars with twist-off lids

Instructions

    Squeeze the lemon. Wash, clean, pit the cherries and bring them to a boil together with the lemon juice and gelatin sugar, letting it bubble for 3–4 minutes.

    Remove from heat and immediately fill hot-washed jars, then let them cool upside down for 15 minutes. Finally turn them right side up and allow to cool completely.
