Ingredients
- 750 g cherries
- 0.125 l cherry juice
- 0.25 l white wine
- 30 g cornstarch
- 6 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 4 tbsp Lemon juice
- 0.5 stick cinnamon
- 2 pieces chocolate (with mint filling)
- mint for garnish

Wash and pit the cherries. Heat the wine in a pot with 2/3 of the juice. Whisk the remaining juice with sugar and cornstarch until smooth. Add the whisked starch to the cooking liquid, add the cherries, and bring to a boil while stirring once.

Add the mint chocolate and let it melt into the compote.

Fill glasses with the compote and serve warm or cold, garnished with mint.
