Ingredients
- 185 g butter
- 80 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 125 g flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 packet vanilla pudding powder
- 380 ml milk
- 300 g sour cream
- 1 jar sour cherries (ca. 380 g drained weight)
- powdered sugar (for dusting)

Preheat the oven to 180°C with upper and lower heat and butter the pan.

Cream 125 g of butter with sugar, add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Combine flour and baking powder, fold in quickly. Spread batter on the base and rim of the pan and bake for about 15 minutes in the preheated oven.

Meanwhile, whisk pudding powder with remaining sugar and egg. Bring milk to a boil and stir into the pudding mixture. Fold in sour cream. Spread over the partially baked cake top and distribute drained cherries on top. Bake again for another 15 minutes and allow to cool before serving. Dust with powdered sugar.
