Ingredients

  • 4 stalks of chives
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 30 g Emmental cheese (1 slice)

Instructions

    Wash the chives, pat dry and cut into small rings.

    Whisk together the chives, eggs, cream, salt, and pepper. Heat the butter in a pan. Pour in the egg mixture and cook for 3–4 minutes over medium heat until set, then flip one side using a spatula.

    Cut the cheese into wide strips, place them on top of the omelette, and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (or 160°C fan‑forced) until the cheese melts. Serve immediately.
