Basic Guacamole

Classic guacamole from Mexican cuisine – creamy, finely seasoned, and always a delight to try!
Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 Lime
- 1 small onion
- 1 Garlic clove
- 0.5 jalapeño
- 6 stems coriander leaves
- Salt
Instructions

Halve the avocados, remove the pit, scoop out the flesh with a spoon and place it in a bowl. Roughly mash the avocado flesh with a fork.

Cut the lime in half and squeeze out the juice. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of lime juice over the guacamole.

Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Slice the jalapeño lengthwise, remove seeds, wash, and finely chop. Rinse the coriander, shake dry, and finely chop the leaves.

Stir the onion, garlic, jalapeño, and ¾ of the coriander into the avocado mixture and season with salt. Serve the guacamole sprinkled with the remaining coriander.
