Cheddar Minced Meat and Potato Mash Casserole

Ingredients
- 600 g Potatoes
- 150 peas
- 2 carrots
- Salt
- 1 onion
- 600 g mixed minced meat
- 50 ml broth
- 6 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp Tomato Paste
- 125 ml milk
- pepper (ground)
- nutmeg
- 150 g grated cheddar
- butter (for the pan)
- 125 g pumpkin flesh

Peel potatoes and boil in salted water for about 25 minutes. Thaw peas. Meanwhile peel carrots, dice them, and blanch in boiling salted water for about 6 minutes; drain and set aside. Peel onion and finely dice it.

Brown minced meat in 2 tbsp butter until crumbly brown, add onion and cook briefly, stir in broth and tomato paste, then add carrot cubes and peas, simmer for another ~3 minutes. Transfer to a greased baking dish.
