Ingredients
- 2 Apples
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp butter
- 40 ml rum
- organic orange
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 50 ml whipping cream
- 1 tbsp sugar

Wash the apples, cut off the tops, remove the cores, and slice into rounds.

Melt the butter and honey in a pan. Add the apple slices and glaze for about 10 minutes over medium heat, spooning the butter-honey mixture over them repeatedly and turning them.

Whip the cream with sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form; serve in small bowls on plates next to the apple slices. Deglaze the butter-honey with rum, reduce briefly, and swirl in orange zest. Drizzle this sauce around the apples on the plate and arrange zest atop the cream. Serve immediately.
