Brownies with White Chocolate and Walnuts

The special chocolate delight: The brownies with white chocolate and walnuts from Spoonsparrow are always a hit.

Ingredients

  • 150 g butter
  • 150 g dark chocolate
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 100 g flour
  • 150 g pecans or walnuts (coarsely chopped)
  • 70 g white chocolate (coarsely chopped)

Instructions

    Melt the butter with finely chopped chocolate over a water bath, then stir in sugar, salt and vanilla. Gradually fold in the eggs, followed by flour, nuts and white chocolate.

    Line an 28 x 28 cm baking pan with parchment paper. Pour the batter into the pan, smooth it out, and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C fan on the middle rack for about 35 minutes. Let cool in the pan.

    Lift the cake out of the pan using the parchment paper and cut into brownies sized approximately 3.5 x 3.5 cm.
