Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs
- 4 chicken wings
- 5 onions
- 600 g pumpkin flesh
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 2 tbsp plant oil
- 250 ml dry white wine
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 tin saffron strands
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds

Wash and pat the thighs and wings dry. Peel the onions and cut into rings. Dice the pumpkin flesh.

Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then brown all sides in a pot with hot oil. Remove from the pot and briefly sauté onion rings with pumpkin cubes. Deglaze with white wine, stir in cinnamon and saffron, then place the chicken on top of the vegetables.

Brush with honey, season again, cover and simmer slowly for about 35 minutes. Add more white wine if needed. Finish by tasting and sprinkling sesame seeds before serving.
