Blueberry-Pear Jam

Ingredients

  • 600 g blueberries
  • 500 g pears
  • 1 kg gelatin sugar (1:1)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

    Peel, quarter, core and dice the pears. Aim for about 400 g of fruit flesh; adjust the amount of pears if needed. Wash, discard stems from the blueberries and let them drain well. Mix the blueberries with the pears, gelatin sugar and lemon juice in a pot, bring to a vigorous boil over high heat and simmer for 4 minutes while testing the setting.

    Remove the pot from the stove and immediately pour the jam into hot-washed jars, seal tightly, place on lids, let cool for about 15 minutes, then flip and allow to cool completely.
