Blueberry Jam

The blueberry jam from Spoonsparrow tastes wonderful as a bread spread or as filling for sweet pastries.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg blueberries
  • 1 kg gelatin sugar (1:1)
  • 1 untreated lemon (juice)
  • 40 ml orange liqueur

Instructions

    Wash and strain the blueberries. Mix them with the gelatin sugar, lemon juice, and liqueur in a pot and let sit for about 1 hour.

    Bring to a boil and simmer for 4 minutes, skimming off any foam if necessary. Perform a gel test. Remove from heat and immediately pour the jam into hot-washed jars, seal tightly, and allow to cool.
