Berry Crumble

Ingredients

  • 100 g Strawberries
  • 100 g red currants
  • 100 g black currants
  • 100 g raspberries
  • 40 ml cassis (or currant syrup)
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 50 g flour
  • 25 g chopped almonds
  • 40 g Butter
  • 40 g brown sugar
  • 1 pinch cinnamon

Instructions

    Wash, trim and cube the strawberries.

    Wash, rinse and pat dry all berries. Mix fruits with cassis liqueur, lemon zest and vanilla sugar, then fill four small oven‑proof ramekins (about 150 ml each).

    Process flour, almonds, butter, sugar, salt and cinnamon into crumbly streusel; sprinkle over the berries. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 15–20 minutes until golden.

    Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
