Ingredients

  • 2 small round raw milk goat cheeses (e.g., Crottin)
  • 2 lemons
  • thyme (fresh)
  • sage (fresh)
  • 2 tbsp herb oil

Instructions

    Wash the lemons, cut off a short piece at each end so the surface is flat.

    Cut each goat cheese in half crosswise and place with the wrinkled skin up on the lemon's cut surface. Wash the herbs, shake dry, tear into small pieces, and insert or lay them between the cheeses. Drizzle with oil.

    Wrap each assembly in parchment paper and place on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for about 30 minutes, until the cheese melts.
