Baked Chickpea Snack

Snacking can also be healthy! With this delicious baked chickpea snack it’s not hard to give up chocolate and chips.

Ingredients

  • 1 can Chickpeas (225 g drained weight)
  • 2 tbsp Coconut oil
  • 90 g onion granules
  • 60 g garlic powder
  • 6 tbsp dried parsley
  • 30 g pepper
  • 2 tbsp chopped dill
  • 2 tsp salt

Instructions

    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Drain the chickpeas, let them dry well, and spread them on the sheet. Bake at 200 °C (180 °C fan; gas: level 3) for 40–60 minutes until golden brown.

    Remove the chickpeas from the oven and mix them in a bowl with the coconut oil. Gradually add the onion granules, garlic powder, parsley, pepper, dill, and salt, stirring frequently to combine.

    Before serving, sift the desired amount of chickpeas through a sieve to remove some of the powder and spice mixture.
