Tomato-Mozzarella Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 ciabatta loaf
  • 250 g mozzarella cheese
  • 200 g tomatoes
  • 1 handful basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

    Cut the ciabatta crosswise and lengthwise in a diamond pattern with a sharp knife, but do not cut all the way through.

    Drain the mozzarella and slice it. Wash the tomatoes, pat them dry, and slice them as well. Wash the basil and shake off excess water.

    Fill the bread with the prepared ingredients, season with salt and pepper, and drizzle with olive oil. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (convection: 160 °C, gas: level 2) for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven, let it cool briefly, and enjoy.
