Baked Apples

Ingredients

  • 4 large apples (sour or sweet depending on preference)
  • 200 g almond sticks
  • 150 g raisins
  • sugar
  • Calvados

Instructions

    Wash the apples and carefully remove the core with an apple corer. Roast the almond sticks in a dry pan until golden.

    Place the apples on a buttered baking sheet and fill each cavity with almond sticks, raisins, and sugar.

  3. 3.

    Drizzle each opening with 1 tsp Calvados. Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan). Place the tray on the middle rack and bake for 30 minutes until cooked through. Serve hot with whipped cream.
