  • 1 untreated lemon (juice)
  • 30 g finely chopped almond kernels
  • 30 g ground walnuts
  • 30 g ground hazelnuts
  • 60 g brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 60 g Butter
  • Butter for the dish
  • 4 cinnamon sticks

Instructions

  1. 1.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) with upper and lower heat.

  2. 2.

    Soak the raisins in rum.

  3. 3.

Peel the apples, remove the core with an apple corer, and brush both inside and outside with lemon juice. Mix the nuts with half of the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Melt butter in a saucepan. Brush the apples with some melted butter and roll them in the nut mixture. Press the coating firmly and place the apples in a greased baking dish.

  4. 4.

Drain the raisins well, then mix them with the remaining sugar and 20 g butter. Fill each apple with this mixture, insert a cinnamon stick into each apple, drizzle the remaining melted butter over the apples, and bake for about 30 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove and serve immediately.
